The suites at The Regent Grand™ are perfect for family vacations. Consisting of two and three bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and laundry facilities, they make an ideal location for spending time together. Play board games, swim, snorkel, and have dinner nights out and pajama parties in.
The full kitchen provides the convenience of cooking and eating on your own schedule. All suite kitchens include a coffeemaker, toaster, and cooking supplies such as pans, dishes and utensils, dishwasher, oven, and microwave, which give guests an alternative to the time and expense associated with restaurant dining.
There are plenty of family activities around Grace Bay and Providenciales, but here are a few that we suggest:
You and your family take a boat out and catch your own fish, which the Captain will fillet for you. Once back at your suite, cook your catch and eat while watching the sunset over the horizon. Or take your catch to The Vix and allow our chefs to cook it for you. This trip lasts about four hours and, depending on the time of year, will cost about $1100 + 12% tax and a fishing license for half a day.
Be picked up on the beach or in the lobby, or take a short drive to our local marina. From there, you and your family will sail to a reef, where you can snorkel and hunt for conch. Then visit the famous half-moon beach or Delis Cay and search for shells and sand dollars. Various trips are available, lasting approximately four hours and costing from $100 per person.
Visit the biggest, but one of the least developed, islands in Turks and Caicos. We suggest taking a ferry to North, which is about 25 minutes away. A taxi/minivan will then provide a tour of the main sites of North and Middle, including stunning Mujan Harbour, the bat caves, and the co-op farms. Our concierge will arrange a picnic, drinks, and water for your day out. Prices for this trip, for a family of four, will cost approximately $150 per person depending on the time of year. Organised tours are also available starting from $249 per adult and $199 per child.
This is a great way to see a little more of the island. Start with a few photos at the hotel, and then hop into a minibus to a secluded beach and get some great photo ops. This fun excursion is light years away from a formal, studio-based photo shoot. The trip lasts about two hours and prices begin at $450.
